Resumo: The objective of this research is to discuss the clinical activity in psychology understanding it as a craft performed in different ways and with different effects, as well as a broader set of heterogeneous practices and default values that support it (the psychologist s education, the therapy for the therapists, the supervision, etc.). In the first part of work, it is narrated the construction of this problematic field; the clinical activity, more than a matter of inquiry, it is held as source of motivation in this process, a field of inquietudes which inhabits and is inhabited by the researcher. In this sense, this work traces these temporal and present threads as the researcher, then, begins to bring closer her making and others which she happens to meet: the crocheting of the women of her family and the 'researching with', political methodological proposal of research headed by actor-network theory; indeed, so poetic, feminine and constitutive as the clinical making. The main argument is that the clinical making (and the becoming of a therapist) is a handcraft construction combined with life that emerges from the first knots of the research, through the education of the therapist, to the art of training other therapists. With this understanding, these ways of doing could only be followed in practice; therefore, the only interest of the research would be to follow this construction where it takes place, that is, through their makers. The methodology in the sequence of the work was interviewing 22 clinical psychologists when they were asked about their actions and their process of becoming a therapist. The idea of that being an handcraft construction emerges from the notion that the handcrafter is the one who works in his own workshop, who makes no large-scale production and in fact always makes different products. The clinical practice calls for this peculiarity, for even the therapists who work with more direct and/or pre-formatted approaches cannot guarantee an "industrial production of therapeutic effects" because, among other things, it depends also on what is produced by the other - the client/patient, mostly. The effects and the resources of a therapeutic process are not possible to predict. We seek to articulate the clinical practices to experiences, memories and legacies that make it a ontological policy of making and unmaking, putting aside the pre-existing forms to be achieved. Following this logic, we are based on the premise that what is at stake are handmakings, be them the clinical making, the researching, the crocheting or the narrating

The main argument is that the clinical making (and the becoming of a therapist) is a handcraft construction combined with life that emerges from the first knots of the research, through the education of the therapist, to the art of training other therapists. Following this logic, we are based on the premise that what is at stake are handmakings, be them the clinical making, the researching, the crocheting or the narratingO objetivo dessa pesquisa é discutir a clínica em psicologia entendo-a como um ofício performado de maneiras diversas e com efeitos diversos, e também como um conjunto mais amplo de práticas heterogêneas e de valores implícitos que lhe dão sustentação (a formação do psicólogo, a terapia dos terapeutas, a supervisão, etc). Made available in DSpace on 2021-01-07T18:36:10Z (GMT).
