The narrative and its powers. This research is made up of stories that occur ‘within the education networks’. We followed the path of a young reader who is constantly becoming a teacher, from her first contact with literature to her proposal to create children's narratives with young people who participate in an NGO, located on the outskirts of the city of Rio de Janeiro. Understanding the importance of literature for learning, imagination, creation and resistance, in a 'space-time' where it is necessary, through struggle and pleasure, to affirm the importance of books at all times. Through children's readings, conversations and activities, the text presents created narratives that address the theme of migration, a theme dear to young people who, alone and alone, cross several neighborhoods to the NGO, in search of a first job opportunity. Using the methodology of everyday life to talk, to be inspired and the poetry of the texts and images of the books read, the research shows the perception of the young people when they first discover themselves readers and then writers, understanding, therefore, that everyone who has contact literature are 'writers-readers' create when reading, read when creating
