The live-writing, autobiographies, the autofictions, ie all forms of define themselves, whether pictorial or literary, evoke images-survivors, color accommodated everyday, anticipate gestures, keep distances contest tapping and own and others' eyes, and so reaffirm the "I" as a living presence before the elements of the world. Conducted by various and complex mechanisms, the writings themselves contain the harbinger of uniqueness as a supreme manifestation of "I" and at the same time, call the community as a fundamental foundation for building one themselves. In this context, and also a current space expanded by the need of "I" in itself as presence, that this study is based. The objective of this research is the analysis of the book Nelida Piñon memories, Coração andarilho (2009), linked to the studies of Aby Warburg, german art historian, and his questions about the movement and survival of images and ancient gestures, and on valuation portrait art by Florentine bourgeoisie at the time of the Renaissance, highlighting how the individual merges in spacetimes of history, that is, as the real is manipulated through images, survivors and how these elements work in building a self image
