A religious ritual with relevant characteristics to the field of geographical science in this study was analyzed. The research sought to understand how the Holy manifests itself in their territoriality, considering the particularities of the research object. From the conceptual deepening on screen, the outlook on the meaning of territory, supported by a socio-anthropological basis, seek to describe, analyze and classify within the Human Geography, specifically the renewed Cultural Geography, cultural and religious ritualistic performance of large demographic expressiveness and still little known. Therefore, the knowledge of Islamic ritual adds in a comprehensive and timely manner, new possibilities of interpreting the place and the territory, extending its meaning and proposing new forms of appropriation of concepts, thus overcoming the spatial area of research, the city of São Paulo, and into the subjectivity with the mobile territoriality through the Earth Imaginalis. The geossímbolos demonstrated in its representation as foundation and standard of an ideological apparatus, earn in this research, focus and relevance. Through this new territorial construction are observed new developments of great social impact, such as the construction of new identities and the maintenance of a community coming from a great mass migration after 1880, and that today makes up the Brazilian society in a continuous process of assimilation. For further development of the Islamic religious community practice analyzed, it was necessary and appropriate the ethnographic method of data collection and analysis. Thus the audiovisual and photographic material collected served as the foundation for a better basis of literature. Partial findings observed until then, lead us to continued research and will clear finding of plasticity fruitful and necessary to the human sciences in general, and specifically to Cultural Geography, since the possibilities of reinterpreting the geographical concepts in the light of religious phenomena are endless
