Violência nas relações de namoro de adolescentes em situação de acolhimento institucional: um olhar da enfermagem

This research has as object of study the violence in dating relationships of adolescents in care situation. Objectives: To identify the characteristics of dating relationships of adolescents in care situation; Analyze the experiences of violence in dating relationships of adolescents in care situation; Describe the impact of violence on the experience of adolescents. Qualitative, descriptive and exploratory study, having as scenario a municipal public unit care for teenagers, located in the north of the city of Rio de Janeiro. Data were collected between March to May 2014, after being approved by the Research Ethics Committee. The study was done with seven teenagers that live in care unit/service, aged 12-18 years, who answered a semi-structured interview. Data were analyzed through content analysis technique, having emerged three categories: Characteristics of dating relationships in perspective of adolescents; The violence in the emotional relationships of adolescents in situation care; and repercussions of violence in dating relationships of adolescents. By analyzing the characteristics of dating relationships in perspective of adolescents, these young people indicated their perceptions of the characteristics related to male behavior and partner. Some perceptions are associated with the partner's behavior with affection, complicity, support and love. And other behaviors of lying, excessive jealousy and aggression, not choosing the right partner, among others. Regarding the perception of their affective relationships, the adolescents indicated to be necessary to first know the partner, have a relationship without a fight and without discussion; expressed attitudes of submission, omission, heartbreak, partner devaluation, wear devaluation and do not like to talk to your partner about the relationship. The types of violence most commonly experienced and reported by the adolescents in their dating relationships were: physical and sexual violence; financial abuse; and psychological violence, verbal and moral. The adolescents pointed out that such violences in dating relationships bring repercussions to their health, such as: impact on mental health, feelings of self-perception devalued, skepticism, powerlessness, insecurity and fear. However, it is noteworthy that some adolescents in care situation, according to the adversities and life history also showed some degree of resilience in the face of violences experienced. Considering this first approximation of the reality of dating relationships of adolescents in care situation, it verifies the necessity of care actions in the treatment with this clientele. The care units are facilitators scenarios for educational and care in a population of adolescents, which facilitates the construction of measures to promote sexual and reproductive health of adolescents. The nursing, recognizing that caring is a dialectical process between the individual and the caregiver but is also influenced historically and socially, has a fundamental role in proposing actions of coping with violence in dating relationships of adolescents in care services.
