Resumo: | Adolescence has been studied for many decades, mainly because it is characterized by a stage of development full of changes and conflicts. Sexuality reaches a greater proportion, along with changes in the body, and the first affective-sexual experiences tend to take place. Such experiences have been changing over time, and acquiring new settings. Affective-sexual relationships in adolescence bring up important issues which deserve attention, especially regarding the occurrence of dating violence. Therefore, it is considered crucial to get to know and investigate how adolescents understand these situations as a way to reduce the violence rates in relationships. Hence, three complementary studies were carried out. The first study aimed to understand the kinds of affective-sexual relationships in adolescence, as well as the role that social media plays in adolescents’ love life; the second one focused on the perception of violence experienced in love relationships among adolescents; and the third one investigated strategies considered important by adolescents in order to identify and prevent the intimate perpetration of violence by someone’s intimate partner. This qualitative research is both descriptive and exploratory. The participants include 29 adolescents who are in the 9th grade of Elementary School and Adult and Youth Education (EJA) from three public schools located in the countryside of Rio Grande do Sul. Focus groups were held, with three meetings in each school, totaling nine meetings in the months of April and May, 2019. Data were analyzed based on Grounded Theory. The results of the first study show that “hanging out with someone” is the main form of affective-sexual relationship among young people, since dating does not last long during this stage of life. Jealousy was seen both as a demonstration of love and as means of dating violence when it comes with control. In the second study, experiences of physical and psychological violence were described as common in affective-sexual relationships in adolescence, but they were not always seen as violence, and perpetrated both by male and female participants. The results of the last study indicated that friends and parents are the main reference when it comes to asking for help in situations of violence. This thesis’s final discussion addresses that changes in current relationships in adolescence do not discard the essential monitoring of family members and trusted adults, in order to provide adolescents with tools so that they can build healthy and non-abusive relationships. It is understood that this subject should be further explored, both within family and school environments in order to reduce the rates of violence, and that the creation of dating violence prevention and intervention programs is needed. |

A sexualidade ganha uma maior proporção, junto com as transformações corporais, e assim, iniciam-se as primeiras experiências afetivo-sexuais. Essas, por sua vez, têm se modificando ao longo do tempo, e adquirindo novas configurações. As relações afetivo-sexuais dos adolescentes geram problemáticas importantes que merecem atenção, especialmente quanto à ocorrência de violência no namoro. Assim, entende-se que é importante conhecer e investigar como os adolescentes compreendem essas situações como forma de minimizar taxas de violência nos relacionamentos. Foram realizados três estudos complementares. O primeiro estudo teve como objetivo conhecer as formas de relacionamentos afetivo-sexuais na adolescência bem como, o papel que as redes sociais ocupam no campo amoroso; o segundo, compreender a percepção sobre a violência vivenciada nos relacionamentos amorosos entre adolescentes e o terceiro conhecer a quem os adolescentes recorrem em situações de violência no namoro e os impactos que a violência pode ter na vida do sujeito. Esta é uma pesquisa qualitativa de caráter descritivo e exploratório. Os participantes foram 29 adolescentes do 9º ensino fundamental e EJA de três escolas públicas do interior do Rio Grande do Sul. Foram realizados grupos focais, sendo realizados três encontros em cada escola, totalizando nove encontros nos meses de abril e maio de 2019. Os dados foram analisados a partir da Teoria Fundamentada nos Dados. Os resultados do primeiro estudo mostram que o "ficar" é a principal forma de relacionamento afetivo-sexual entre os jovens, uma vez que, o namoro nesta fase não é duradouro. O ciúme foi visto tanto como uma manifestação de amor como também, pode ser considerado o dispositivo da violência no namoro ao adquirir o sentido de controle. No segundo estudo, situações de violência física e psicológica foram descritas como comuns nos relacionamentos afetivo-sexuais na adolescência, nem sempre sendo vistas como violência, sendo perpetrada por ambos sexos. Os resultados do último estudo evidenciaram que os amigos e os pais são as principais referências ao que se refere buscar ajuda nas situações de violência. A discussão final dessa dissertação sinaliza as mudanças que os relacionamentos atuais na adolescência enfrentam não descartam o fundamental acompanhamento de familiares e adultos de confiança, no sentido de oferecer ferramentas para os adolescentes construírem relacionamentos saudáveis e não abusivos. Entende-se que essa temática deve ser mais explorada tanto no ambiente familiar como escolar a fim de minimizar os índices de violência bem como a implementação de programas de intervenção e prevenção de violência no namoro.porUniversidade Federal de Santa MariaCentro de Ciências Sociais e HumanasPrograma de Pós-Graduação em PsicologiaUFSMBrasilPsicologiaAttribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 Internationalhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessAdolescenteRelacionamentos afetivo-sexuaisViolência no namoroAdolescentAffective-sexual relationshipsDating violenceCNPQ::CIENCIAS HUMANAS::PSICOLOGIAAs concepções sobre relacionamentos afetivo-sexuais e violência no namoro na perspectiva dos adolescentesConceptions about affective-sexual relationships and dating violence from adolescents’ perspectiveinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersioninfo:eu-repo/semantics/masterThesisSiqueira, Aline Cardosohttp://lattes.cnpq.br/3278922570477238D'Affonseca, Sabrina MazoPaludo, Simone dos Santoshttp://lattes.cnpq.br/5962267951344263Visentini, Danielle Machado700700000001600600600600600f39c0f44-b7d4-4406-b457-709dc2d18911f2ec509b-3877-401d-be67-0df06779fbe1fca13a19-caa3-4519-8304-d9523b75568d29aa198d-af25-41cb-a879-2c4639fa6372reponame:Biblioteca Digital de Teses e Dissertações do UFSMinstname:Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (UFSM)instacron:UFSMORIGINALDIS_PPGPSICOLOGIA_2020_VISENTINI_DANIELLE.pdfDIS_PPGPSICOLOGIA_2020_VISENTINI_DANIELLE.pdfDissertação de Mestradoapplication/pdf1009332http://repositorio.ufsm.br/bitstream/1/23213/1/DIS_PPGPSICOLOGIA_2020_VISENTINI_DANIELLE.pdf66710c11e3c948020ab9b789479980bfMD51CC-LICENSElicense_rdflicense_rdfapplication/rdf+xml;
