Uma abordagem psicanalítica das questões da sexualidade na atual clínica com adolescentes

This dissertation was motivated by the practice as a psychology resident at the Universitary Hospital Pedro Ernesto. This work questions the theory from the clinic, from the data that can be obtained from it, in other words, from what the speech of each subject can bring back to the theory about sexuality in adolescence. The cases were studied according to the psychoanalytic methodology i.e. from the transference. From the speeches of the subjects, it verifies that the current theory is in accordance nowadays and in what the theory needs modifications and additions brought from what the subjects said. Part of the theoretical substantiation that sexuality is childish and constituted in the relationship with the Other, Freud takes up again and verifies that since the Three Essays he proposed to extend doubly the concept of sexuality in force at the time, that is, to remove it from its connection close to the genitals and include all the impulses encompassed by the multipurpose term love. Starting from the Freudian formulation of a biphasic beginning of sexuality in childhood and puberty, he investigates the differences between them. He notes that, from the point of view of medicine, puberty corresponds to the final phase of the sexual differentiation of the subject, induced by the production of sex hormones that lead to transformations in his body, which is an absolutely necessary process from the biological point of view for acquisition of fertility and consolidation of growth. It contrasts, from psychoanalysis, with adolescence as the presentiment of being-for-sex, Freud's subversion of philosophy, which presupposes the encounter with the real of castration, with questions about the assumption of a position in the sharing of the sexes . From this point, he verifies the clinical implications of two diagnoses taken from medical discourse, disorders of sexual differentiation (intersexuality) and gender dysphoria (transsexuality). This study resumes the conceptualization of masculine and feminine and ratifies that for him they are not only a reference for the development of the boy and the girl, they refer to the way how each subject deals with the recognition of the difference. Anatomy is given, what is not given is the way how each subject sees his anatomy. Consequently: sexual bipolarity is psychic and not anatomo-physiological and the subject will be placed on one side of the formulas of sexuation, proposed by Lacan, and not necessarily always on the same side.
