Resumo: Thinking about education requires thinking about social class and power relations. The educator must not fall into the naïveté of the neutrality of his doing. It must be asked which student wants to form and which society wants to build. It is the starting point for throwing a beam in one of the most significant popular education projects carried out in Brazil. The “Centro Integrado de Educação Pública” (CIEP). The objective of this thesis is to recover histories of the pedagogical practices between teachers and Cultural Animators. Identify which pedagogical concepts are behind the activities of teachers and cultural animators from the memories of CIEP Maria Joaquina de Oliveira and CIEP Brigadeiro Sérgio Carvalho. Identify whether Darcy Ribeiro's objectives for building a humanist school, which integrated the students' popular culture with literate culture, were present in the pedagogical practices of the CIEP. Identify links between the concept of party pedagogy formulated in this thesis from the joint pedagogical activities of teachers and cultural animators. It was necessary to revisit the theoretical foundations of authors in behaviorism, constructivism and humanism. Such theorists were also were essential to verify the differences in mental formations between children and adolescents, considering that the second are actors in this investigation. As the arch is located at an intersection between the History of Education, Sociology and the Psychology of Education, it was anchored in authors who made it possible to connect everyday educational practices and the social structures built throughout history. In methodological terms, interviews were mainly used as oral sources. It has as its time frame, the period of 1987, the year of the inauguration of the two CIEPs and the end of the first government of Leonel Brizola, in 2002, the end of the Benedita da Silva government, which the author was part of the Secretariat of State for Education - SEEDUC - RJ. The research highlights how Darcy Ribeiro was also a great thinker of education, particularly in the arena of the transformation of practical reality. For being where it matters most. From the pedagogical practices observed in the researched schools, it was possible to perceive the importance of inserting playfulness, through artistic, sports and recreational activities, in short, a pedagogy of the festival in adolescents' teaching-learning process.

Hay que preguntarse qué alumno quiere formarse y qué sociedad quiere construir. Este es el punto de partida para arrojar luz sobre uno de los mayores proyectos de educación popular realizados en Brasil: el Centro de Educación Pública Integrada (CIEP). El objetivo general de esta tesis es recuperar historias de prácticas pedagógicas entre docentes y Animadores Culturales. A partir de las memorias del CIEP Maria Joaquina de Oliveira y del CIEP Brigadeiro Sérgio Carvalho, identificar qué conceptos pedagógicos estarían detrás de las actividades de los docentes y animadores culturales; verificar si los objetivos de Darcy Ribeiro para la construcción de una escuela humanista, que integrara la cultura popular de los estudiantes con la cultura alfabetizada, estaban presentes en las prácticas pedagógicas del CIEP; identificar también vínculos entre el concepto de pedagogía partidista formulado en esta tesis, con las actividades pedagógicas conjuntas de docentes y animadores culturales. Para alcanzar los objetivos propuestos, fue necesario revisar los fundamentos teóricos de autores de los campos del conductismo, el constructivismo y el humanismo. Tales teóricos también fueron importantes para verificar las diferencias en la formación cognitiva entre niños y adolescentes, considerando que estos últimos son actores en esta investigación. Al ubicarse la investigación en una intersección entre la Historia de la Educación, la Sociología y la Psicología de la Educación, se ancló en autores que hicieron posible la conexión entre las prácticas educativas cotidianas y las estructuras sociales construidas a lo largo de la historia. En términos metodológicos, se trata de una investigación cualitativa en el campo de la historia oral / autobiográfica cuyas fuentes se adquirieron principalmente a través de entrevistas. Tiene como marco temporal el período de 1987, año de inauguración de varios CIEP y fin del primer gobierno de Leonel Brizola, hasta 2002, fin del gobierno de Benedita da Silva, del cual formé parte del Departamento de Educación del Estado. (SEEDUC - RJ). La investigación contribuye a resaltar cómo Darcy Ribeiro también fue un gran pensador de la educación, particularmente en el ámbito de la transformación de la realidad. A partir de las prácticas pedagógicas observadas en las escuelas investigadas, se pudo percibir la importancia de la inserción de lo lúdico, a través de actividades artísticas, deportivas y recreativas, en definitiva, una pedagogía partidista, en la enseñanza-aprendizaje de los adolescentes.Pensar a educação requer pensar a sociedade e suas relações de classe e poder. O educador não deve cair na ingenuidade da neutralidade do seu fazer. Deve-se perguntar que aluno se quer formar e que sociedade se quer construir. Este é o ponto de partida para se jogar um feixe de luz em um dos maiores projetos de educação popular realizado no Brasil: o Centro Integrado de Educação Pública (CIEP). O objetivo geral desta tese é interpretar histórias das práticas pedagógicas entre professores(as) e Animadores(as) Culturais. A partir de memórias do CIEP Maria Joaquina de Oliveira e do CIEP Brigadeiro Sérgio Carvalho, identificar quais conceitos pedagógicos estariam por detrás das atividades dos(as) professores(as) e Animadores(as) culturais; verificar se os objetivos de Darcy Ribeiro para construção de uma escola humanista, que integrasse a cultura popular dos alunos à cultura letrada, estavam presentes nas práticas pedagógicas dos CIEP; identificar ainda vínculos entre o conceito de pedagogia da festa formulado nesta tese, com as atividades pedagógicas conjuntas de professores(as) e Animadores(as) Culturais dessas duas instituições. Para chegar aos objetivos propostos, se fez necessário revisitar os fundamentos teóricos de autores dos campos do behaviorismo, do construtivismo e do humanismo. Tais teóricos também foram importantes para verificar as diferenças nas formações cognitivas entre as crianças e os adolescentes, considerando que os últimos são atores dessa investigação. Como a pesquisa se situa em uma interseção entre a História da Educação, a Sociologia e a Psicologia da Educação, ancorou-se em autores que possibilitassem fazer a ligação entre as práticas educativas cotidianas e as estruturas sociais construídas ao longo da história. Em termos metodológicos, esta é uma pesquisa qualitativa no campo da História Oral/autobiográfica cujas fontes foram adquiridas principalmente através de entrevistas. Tem como recorte temporal o período de 1987, ano de inauguração de vários CIEP e final do primeiro governo de Leonel Brizola, a 2002, final do governo Benedita da Silva, do qual o autor fez parte integrando a Secretaria de Estado de Educação (SEEDUC - RJ). A pesquisa contribui para ressaltar o quanto Darcy Ribeiro também foi um grande pensador da educação, particularmente na arena da transformação da realidade. A partir das práticas pedagógicas observadas nos colégios pesquisados foi possível perceber a importância da inserção do lúdico, através de atividades artísticas, esportivas e recreativas, enfim, uma pedagogia da festa, no ensino-aprendizagem de adolescentes. description Thinking about education requires thinking about social class and power relations. The educator must not fall into the naïveté of the neutrality of his doing. It must be asked which student wants to form and which society wants to build. It is the starting point for throwing a beam in one of the most significant popular education projects carried out in Brazil. The “Centro Integrado de Educação Pública” (CIEP). The objective of this thesis is to recover histories of the pedagogical practices between teachers and Cultural Animators. Identify which pedagogical concepts are behind the activities of teachers and cultural animators from the memories of CIEP Maria Joaquina de Oliveira and CIEP Brigadeiro Sérgio Carvalho. Identify whether Darcy Ribeiro's objectives for building a humanist school, which integrated the students' popular culture with literate culture, were present in the pedagogical practices of the CIEP. Identify links between the concept of party pedagogy formulated in this thesis from the joint pedagogical activities of teachers and cultural animators. It was necessary to revisit the theoretical foundations of authors in behaviorism, constructivism and humanism. Such theorists were also were essential to verify the differences in mental formations between children and adolescents, considering that the second are actors in this investigation. As the arch is located at an intersection between the History of Education, Sociology and the Psychology of Education, it was anchored in authors who made it possible to connect everyday educational practices and the social structures built throughout history. In methodological terms, interviews were mainly used as oral sources. It has as its time frame, the period of 1987, the year of the inauguration of the two CIEPs and the end of the first government of Leonel Brizola, in 2002, the end of the Benedita da Silva government, which the author was part of the Secretariat of State for Education - SEEDUC - RJ. The research highlights how Darcy Ribeiro was also a great thinker of education, particularly in the arena of the transformation of practical reality. For being where it matters most. From the pedagogical practices observed in the researched schools, it was possible to perceive the importance of inserting playfulness, through artistic, sports and recreational activities, in short, a pedagogy of the festival in adolescents' teaching-learning process.
