The social and educational inequalities contribute to the reproduction of classes in Brazil. The youth is at the heart of this issue as one of the groups most affected by this unequal distribution. Assuming that there are different ways to experience the youth in contemporary and social classes would be an important factor to think about different ways of transition to adulthood, this paper discusses the issue of youth and young people within the context inequality. Therefore, we conducted a quantitative research with young students of Youth and Adults Education in municipality of Mesquita (RJ) about their characteristics and way of life, seeking, however, a possible generalization of this particular case as possible. Addressed the concepts of condition and position youth in order to build a map of inequality and situate this young student. The results indicate that there are generational differences between the cuts that make up the youth with respect to their educational trajectories (youth-adolescent, 15-17 years, youth-youth, 18-24 years and youth-adult, 25-29 years of age). The hypothesis is that this youth has separate indicators for overlaps involving educational policies in force at certain times of their entry and stay in regular schools. Thus, think the youth in this context may help to better understand who the new public school which occupies the banks of Youth and Adult Education in recent years and still trying to interpret the impact of political correctness at the concrete flow: the lives of these young people.
