Resumo: Although the topic of displacement is not new in the world, this study is dedicated to investigating refugee childhood in contemporary times. In this way, the questions presented here are situated at the intersection of two specific interdisciplinary fields: that of Intersectional Childhood Studies and that of Migration and Refuge Studies, bringing to the debate proposed here some questions related to the concept(s) of refugee in constant debate and dispute, the legislations and the consequences of these words refuge, law and life in relation to people whose lives are or have been at risk. The research focuses on the singularity of the subjects, namely, ten children and adolescents who, as fictional interlocutors and real children, unveiled the power and political place of childhood in the refuge scenario. At the same time as the presentation of the field, the interlocutors and the way in which the study was developed, the theoretical affiliation is presented, lining up dialogues with Boaventura Santos and the Sociology of Absences and Emergencies; With Mafeji and the ideology of tribalism; with Judith Butller and her concept of precarious lives; Walter Benjamin and his concepts of childhood, arts and stories and Michail Bakhtin, contributing with the chronotopes. The text was organized considering two central blocks: ÁGUAS and DESÁGUES, which appeared as entrance and exit doors of the presented subsections, where the debate that constituted in each one of them, had its seam tacked to the themes and childhoods circumscribed in children's books, films and images with which the research dialogued, in addition to the children with whom I met personally, bringing up situations present in the daily lives of these interlocutors, demarcating the place of childhood as a place of presence, contrary to the invisibility to which it is still legally, socially and politically subjected.

Desta forma, as questões que aqui se apresentam situam-se no imbricamento de dois campos interdisciplinares específicos: o dos Estudos interseccionais da Infância e o dos Estudos das Migrações e Refúgio, trazendo para o debate aqui proposto algumas questões relacionadas ao(s) conceito(s) de refugiado em constante debate e disputa, as legislações e as consequências dessas palavras refúgio, lei e vida em relação às pessoas cujas vidas estão ou estiveram em risco. A pesquisa coloca foco na singularidade dos sujeitos, a saber, dez crianças e adolescentes que, na condição de interlocutores ficcionais e crianças reais, desvelaram a potência e o lugar político da infância no cenário do refúgio. Ao mesmo tempo em que se dá a apresentação do campo, dos interlocutores e a forma como o estudo se desenvolveu, a filiação teórica se apresenta, alinhavando diálogos com Boaventura Santos e a Sociologia das Ausências e das Emergências; com Mafeji e a ideologia do tribalismo; com Judith Butller e seu conceito de vidas precárias; Walter Benjamin e seus conceitos de infância, arte e história e Michail Bakhtin, contribuindo com seu conceito de cronotopos.
