Resumo: Executive functions can be defined as a group of cognitive skills which act together and they are responsible for allowing storage and manipulation of information, inhibiting thoughts and / or unwanted behaviors, solving problems and executing actions directed to objectives. A good executive functioning is necessary for the fulfillment of the most diverse intended tasks and executes an important role in the decision-making processes. During a soccer match, players often make decisions. Therefore, this work seeks to investigate the relationship between executive functions and decision making in soccer players.

Um bom funcionamento executivo é requisito necessário para o cumprimento das mais diversas tarefas pretendidas, exercem um papel importante nos processos de tomada de decisão. Durante uma partida de futebol, constantemente, os jogadores tomam decisões.
