Fibromyalgia is considered a rheumatologic disease that involves psychopathological processes in which people need to be followed throughout their lives, through interdisciplinary teams, in their different aspects, with different looks and knowledge. Especially at the special time of pandemic of the new coronavirus, in which the symptomatology of these patients can be intensified. General objective: to know the lifestyles and human needs of people with fibromyalgia; the clinical aspects and the dimension of care in times of pandemic by coronavirus, attended at the rheumatology outpatient clinic of a Public University Hospital of Rio de Janeiro. Specific objectives: 1. Identify the lifestyles of people with fibromyalgia attended at the rheumatology outpatient clinic; 2. Describe human health needs with the arrival of the coronavirus pandemic; 3. To analyze the dimensions of care that emerged from the testimonies of people with fibromyalgia in times of pandemic by coronavirus. Methodology: this is qualitative research, a participatory approach. The participants were selected based on the inclusion criteria: having FM diagnosis, under outpatient treatment, over 18 years of age, regardless of gender, ethnicity, and religious belief, with capacity for understanding and autonomy to answer the questions. Exclusion criteria: people who did not have telephone contact and internet access, considering that, due to the pandemic of the new Coronavirus, the active search of these participants via telephone contact was necessary. The dissertation complies with the provisions of CNS Resolution 466/2012, which deals with the ethical and legal issues of research involving human beings. Data collection was through semi-structured interview via video call by whatsApp. The content analysis technique according to Bardin with data processing with the aid of NVIVO® software 12. Results: three categories entitled: lifestyle from the point of view of the participants emerged; repercussions of human needs with the arrival of the coronavirus pandemic and dimensions of care from the perspective of participants in the transition period of the pandemic by coronavirus. Conclusion: understanding the dimensions in a transition period between an existing health situation and the new virus has modified the habits, routines and needs of women with fibromyalgia. It was identified that physiological, safety, social and esteem needs were affected in this period. As well as the dimensions of care that most had a impact due to the pandemic of the new coronavirus were the physical or biological dimension, the spiritual dimension, the psychological or emotional dimension and the social dimension. This study will contribute to awakening in the reader new ideas and ways of caring, as well as people who experience fibromyalgia.
