Resumo: | Based in Discourse Analysis orientation that starts from discursive practices to explain the socio-historical production of senses, the present article aims to analyze the discourses that involve the indigenous woman in contemporary politics in the subjectivity production. For that, we use as the main corpus of analysis some excerpts from an interview given by Sônia Guajajara to the newspaper Brasil de Fato – MG, observing the operation of knowledge-power relations, according to Michel Foucault reflections. Through the analysis, it was possible to verify that, in the middle of the XXI century, discourses still circulate influenced by chauvinism and patriarchal positions that make it difficult for women to participate in politics. Such discourses consider that women were not born to exercise important social functions, position that gets worse when it is a woman of indigenous origin. However, native women exposes a struggle and resistance trajectory through their political life, contradicting the referred discourses and producing new favorable subjectivities, as demonstrated by the performance of Sônia Guajajara in the Brazilian political scenery. |

Edições UERN2022-06-30info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://periodicos.apps.uern.br/index.php/RCOL/article/view/4637COLINEARES; v. 9 n. 1 (2022): Revista Colineares; 67-742357-8203reponame:Revista Colinearesinstname:Universidade do Estado do Rio Grande do Norte (UERN)instacron:UERNporhttps://periodicos.apps.uern.br/index.php/RCOL/article/view/4637/3535Copyright (c) 2022 Deymison Iago Cortez da Silva, Francisco Paulohttps://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessSilva, Deymison Iago Cortez da Silva, Francisco Paulo da2023-07-31T16:18:00Zoai:ojs2.periodicos.apps.uern.br:article/4637Revistahttp://periodicos.uern.br/index.php/colinearesPUBhttp://periodicos.uern.br/index.php/colineares/oai||rev.colineares@uern.br2357-82032357-8203opendoar:2024-05-17T13:37:40.448611Revista Colineares - Universidade do Estado do Rio Grande do Norte (UERN)false |
