Resumo: In the present article we will develop the problem of love and mysticism in the thought of Marsilio Ficino walking the path of his main theories: His cosmology and his conception of human nature, his theory of prisca theologia, linked to his defense of a pia philosophia and, finally, the divino furore and melancholy in tune with mystical experience. In this work, we develop the meaning of love in relation to beauty, understanding that love it is nothing else desire for beauty and beauty, on the other hand, is nothing other than the splendor of divine goodness. Furthermore, we will evaluate how , in each of the theories mentioned, find relationship with contemplation and the mystical path, towards the knowledge about diviniy. The objective of the article is to examine the role that mysticism plays in the Marsilio Ficino´s thought.

The objective of the article is to examine the role that mysticism plays in the Marsilio Ficino´s thought.  En el presente artí­culo desarrollaremos el problema del amor y la mí­stica en el pensamiento de Marsilio Ficino haciendo un recorrido por sus principales teorí­as: su cosmologí­a y su concepción sobre la naturaleza humana, su teorí­a sobre la prisca theologia, vinculada a su defensa de una pia philosophia y, por último, el furor divino y la melancolí­a en sintoní­a con la experiencia mí­stica. Asimismo, en este trabajo, desarrollamos el significado del amor en relación con la belleza, comprendiendo que el amor no es otra cosa que deseo de belleza y la belleza, por su parte, no es otra cosa que el esplendor de la bondad divina. Evaluaremos hasta qué punto en cada una de las teorí­as mencionadas, encontramos relación con la contemplación y la ví­a mí­stica dirigida hacia el conocimiento de la divinidad. En suma, el objetivo principal del artí­culo es examinar el papel que juega el misticismo en el pensamiento de Marsilio Ficino.No presente artigo desenvolveremos o problema do amor e da mí­stica no pensamento de Marsí­lio Ficino fazendo um percurso pelas suas principais teorias: sua cosmologia e sua concepção sobre a natureza humana, sua teoria sobre a prisca theologia, vinculada à sua defesa de uma pia philosophia e, por último, o furor divino e a melancolia em sintonia com a experiência mí­stica. Da mesma forma, neste trabalho, desenvolvemos o significado do amor em relação com a beleza, compreendendo que o amor não é outra coisa que desejo de beleza e a beleza, por sua vez, não é outra coisa que o esplendor da bondade divina. Avaliaremos até que ponto em cada uma das teorias mencionadas, encontramos relação com a contemplação e a via mí­stica dirigida até o conhecimento da divindade.
