The word poetry in Jakobson

Resumo: Considered to be the main objects of analysis of Literature, the studies on certain features of poetry have not much interest to the linguists, which, somehow makes some important discussions aside and some issues that could raise several discussions are not even set. Considering that poetry is an important field to linguistic research, mainly in Semantics, we intend to in this article to observe senses of the word poetry in Jakobson's theory. For this, we, in a first moment, raise a small discussion as to his theory and what place (s) that poetry occupies. After this discussion, we situate ourselves in the theoretical line of Semantics of the Events, to establish the Semantic Domain Determination of this word in the corpus established.KEYWORDS: Poetry. LanguagePor ser considerado um objeto de estudos principalmente da Literatura, o estudo de certos aspectos da poesia chama a atenção de poucos pesquisadores da área da Linguística, o que, de certo modo, deixa certas discussões importantes de lado e também certas questões que poderiam suscitar várias discussões nem chegam a ser elaboradas. Colocando-nos na posição de que a poesia é um lugar importante para as pesquisas linguísticas, principalmente na área da Semântica, pretendemos, neste artigo, observar os sentidos da palavra poesia na teoria de Jakobson. Para isso, vamos, em um primeiro momento, levantar uma pequena discussão a respeito de sua teoria e qual o(s) lugar(es)que a poesia ocupa. Após esta discussão, iremos nos situar na linha teórica da Semântica do Acontecimento, para estabelecer o Domínio Semântico de Determinação desta palavra no corpus estabelecido.
