Resumo: This article is a dialogue between perspectives that think about the education of children in articulation with the visibility and the guarantee of the right to the urban space of cities. This is a clipping of Canavieira's doctoral thesis (2019) that addresses democratic conceptions and practices in early childhood education. We start from the studies of Sennett (2016 and 2016), Lefebvre (2001), Lopes (2006 and 2018), with the main objective to highlight political-pedagogical conceptions and practices that catalyze the integration of babies and young children in through the institutions of early childhood education and the relationship between public and political space. We defend the possibilities of territorialization of children in the urban space as an exercise of democratic practice and citizenship and the power of early childhood education in this process, problematizing the elements of the process of deterritorialization of the child body in the public space. Therefore, we discuss the idea of educational territory coined in the reality of Paulistana Early Childhood Education. We argue that political- pedagogical intentionality based on democratic principles can guarantee young children the right to the city, and the formation of citizen bodies, minds and subjectivities.

Este es un recorte de la tesis doctoral de Canavieira (2019) que aborda las concepciones y prácticas democráticas en la educación de la primera infancia. Partimos de los estudios de Sennett (2016 y 2016), Lefebvre (2001), Lopes (2006 y 2018), con el objetivo principal de resaltar las concepciones y prácticas político- pedagógicas que catalizan la integración de bebés y jóvenes. niños en las instituciones de educación de la primera infancia y la relación entre el espacio público y político. Defendemos las posibilidades de territorialización de los niños en el espacio urbano como un ejercicio de práctica democrática y ciudadanía y el poder de la educación de la primera infancia en este proceso, problematizando los elementos del proceso de desterritorialización del cuerpo del niño en el espacio público. Por lo tanto, discutimos la idea de territorio educativo acuñado en la realidad de la Educación de la Primera Infancia Paulistana. Argumentamos que la intencionalidad político-pedagógica basada en principios democráticos puede garantizar a los niños pequeños el derecho a la ciudad y la formación de cuerpos, mentes y subjetividades ciudadanas.Este artigo é um diálogo entre perspectivas que pensam a educação das crianças em articulação com a visibilidade e a garantia do direito ao espaço urbano das cidades. Trata- se de um recorte da tese de doutorado de Canavieira (2019) que aborda concepções e práticas democráticas na Educação Infantil. Partimos dos estudos de Sennett (2016 e 2016), Lefebvre (2001), Lopes (2006 e 2018), tendo como objetivo principal evidenciar concepções que catalisam a integração dos bebês e das crianças pequenas na cidade, através das instituições de Educação Infantil e a relação espaço público e político. Defendemos as possibilidades de territorialização das crianças no espaço urbano como exercício da prática democrática e da cidadania e a potência da Educação Infantil nesse processo, problematizando os elementos do processo de desterritorialização do corpo infantil no espaço público. Para tanto, discutimos a ideia de território educativo cunhado na realidade da Educação Infantil Paulistana.
