Resumo: This work tries to present, through reports of experiences of educational coordinator, the understanding of these on the importance of the coordinator in the school. We took as a methodology the qualitative approach, which happened from focus groups in order to obtain depth in the questions worked, where six pedagogical coordinators of the Municipal Network of Teaching of Itaperuna / RJ participated in three moments in group, based on wheels of directed conversations, aiming to gather data focused on the discussion of specific topics. Through the reports of the coordinators we can verify that they have a good perception of their work, expressing through their statements how much they consider their essential work in schools, however we could perceive feelings of anguish, immediacy and incompetence for not meeting all the demands schools.

Este trabalho busca apresentar, através de relatos de experiências de coordenadoras pedagógicas, a compreensão destes sobre a importância do coordenador na escola. Tomamos como metodologia a abordagem qualitativa, que aconteceu a partir de grupos focais no intuito de obter profundidade nas questões trabalhadas, onde seis coordenadores pedagógicos da Rede Municipal de Ensino de Itaperuna/RJ participaram de três momentos em grupo, baseados em rodas de conversas direcionadas, objetivando colher dados focados a partir da discussão de tópicos específicos. Através dos relatos das coordenadoras pudemos comprovar que elas possuem uma boa percepção do seu trabalho, expressando através das suas falas o quanto consideram o seu trabalho essencial nas escolas, entretanto pudemos perceber sentimentos de angústia, imediatismo e incompetência por não dar conta de todas as demandas escolares. Este trabajo busca presentar, a través de relatos de experiencias de coordinadoras pedagógicas, la comprensión de éstos sobre la importancia del coordinador en la escuela. En el caso de los grupos focales con el fin de obtener profundidad en las cuestiones trabajadas, donde seis coordinadores pedagógicos de la Red Municipal de Enseñanza de Itaperuna / RJ participaron de tres momentos en grupo, basados en ruedas de conversaciones dirigidas, con el objetivo de recoger datos enfocados a partir de la discusión de temas específicos. A través de los relatos de las coordinadoras pudimos comprobar que ellas poseen una buena percepción de su trabajo, expresando a través de sus palabras cuánto consideran su trabajo esencial en las escuelas, sin embargo, pudimos percibir sentimientos de angustia, inmediatez e incompetencia por no dar cuenta de todas las demandas escuela.
