A BRIDGE FOR THE FUTURE, GTEPP AND THE “SHOULD BE”

Resumo: The objective was to compare the Ulisses Guimarães Foundation (FUG) document with the State and Public Policy Working Group (GTEPP) opinion on medium-term solutions for Brazil to overcome the economic crisis of the years 2015 and 2016. We associate with the respective positive economies, which, hypothetically, the first would be on the supply side and the second on the demand side. The “must-be” of the FUG seems to propose that the private sector has priority to allay the economic crisis and that the public deficit be solved on the expenditure side. The GTEPP would leverage economic activity through public spending and resolve the public deficit by increasing revenue.

Associamos às respectivas economias positivas, que por hipótese, a primeira seria do lado da oferta e a segunda do lado da demanda. O “dever-ser” da FUG parece propor que o setor privado tenha prioridade para dissipar a crise econômica e que o déficit público seja solucionado pelo lado da despesa.
