This paper discuss some explanatory elements of stabilization process oftheoretical approaches in economics, using modern macroeconomics as a case study.By illustrating the process of interaction between social science organizations and thechoices of individual researchers about which theories they must use, it is intended toshow how such approaches are so assimilated in the social science organizations of theeconomics that changes in the choices of individual researchers, even after explanatory failures, become a difficult process of dishabituation and denaturalization. It alsoaims to show additional complications, arising from the stabilization of devices fromsuch theoretical approaches that, in fact, make these changes even more difficult. Itcould even maintain certain theoretical approaches as the dominant choices both byresearchers and by the public demanding economic theories.
