Knowledge is responsible for minimizing the uncertainties of decisions and consequently enabling the organization does better invest its financial capital, this way obtaining greater profits. This paper seeks to analyze the Enterprise Knowledge Development, the EKD, based on the knowledge creation theory established by Nonaka and Takeuchi, specifically in its process of creation of organizational knowledge and in its defined conditions the company manages to promote the management of knowledge. The method used to achieve this objective was to apply six models of the methodology, business processes, objectives, actors and resources, rules, components and technical requirements and concept, in a dental clinic located in the city of Paulo Afonso-Ba. By this way, it was possible to understand how the process of application of the methodology works, what the results bring to the company, and identify the existence, or not, of similarity with the theory of creation and transformation of knowledge. The process used by the methodology is very similar to that established by theory to develop knowledge within the company. The EKD supports the organization mainly in the decision making and evaluation of the situation of the organization.
