A educação financeira nos anos iniciais: conteúdos, metodologias e contextualizações nas coleções didáticas de matemática do PNLD/2016 de escolas municipais

This study is the result of an analysis of the presence of Financial Education in Mathematics Education in the PNLD 2016 Didactic Collections, considering that these are important pedagogical tools that are available to teachers and students and that reside in the same innumerable possibilities that contribute to the development of Financial Education in the initial years of Elementary School. Financial Education is a contemporary theme of great importance for the present day, once it proposes several reflections about how people should manage their finances, make plans for themselves and their families, have a discernment between buying and saving and having a excellent vision about sustainability, although little suggested by didactic collections. This concern led us to develop this work in order to analyze the presence of Financial Education, considering the contents, methodologies and contextualizations in the didactic collections of Mathematics, adopted by the Municipal Schools of União dos Palmares - AL. For this purpose, a documentary research was carried out, which included the contributions of the official guidelines, the collection of the PNLD/2016 Mathematical Didactic Collections and several authors that recognize the responsibility that is imposed on the school in relation to Financial Education. The results of the research were consolidated in analytical tables, considering the quantitative and qualitative presence of Financial Education in the pages of the investigated books and books of the teacher, and point out the need to review the importance of this theme in all the analyzed collections, since the they treat in a very superficial way, or they do not deal with Financial Education. The PNLD Mathematics Didactic Collections need to recognize this theme more efficiently and future perspectives in this regard are based on the National Curricular Common Base that points to one of the contemporary themes of Financial Education.
