Cities need to be organized environments so that the population has quality of life with the minimum of comfort to live well. In addition, it was noted the need for management of the enterprise to follow parameters such as the National Environmental Council (CONAMA) of Resolution 307 that establishes guidelines, criteria and procedures for the management of solid waste in construction. Besides 5S it is a good option to seek to alleviate the problems related to the absence of organization, lack of discipline of the team among others. Thus, it is observed that in the initial phase of the exploratory research we have in its methodology a review of the literature on the solid residues of construction and demolition, with the present study carried out in an enterprise located in the city of Maceió-Al. With emphasis on socioenvironmental problems of solid residues it is necessary to expose some of the causes of the appearance of these problems, and to propose ways to soften them. It is intended to guide in the form of booklets and lectures the importance of keeping the waste separated, and to destine them in an appropriate place. In addition, with the awareness of all the employees involved, it is possible to think about sustainability in the civil construction sector, one can also obtain the seal of quality that reflects in an economic portion, avoiding wasted materials, among other benefits.
