Resumo: This study aims to understand the pedagogical practice in the field of geography on environmental education in the school environment of São Luis do Quitunde / AL, in 2019. To this end, a study is carried out with the purpose of identifying environmental problems in the city researched; develop reflections on environmental problems through the analysis of industrial practices; explain the importance of environmental education being problematized in the area of geography. The principle that stands out in the present study is how environmental education has been considered in the field of geography in the school environment in São Luis do Quitunde / AL, in 2019? The methodology used for the development of this work is a field research, using observation and pedagogical intervention as a tool in the research locus.

Para tanto é realizado um estudo com a finalidade de identificar os problemas ambientais na cidade pesquisada; desenvolver reflexões sobre os problemas ambientais por meio das análises de práticas industriais; explicitar a importância da educação ambiental em ser problematizada na área da geografia. O principio que se destaca no presente estudo é como a educação ambiental vem sendo considerada no campo da geografia no ambiente escolar em São Luis do Quitunde/AL, em 2019?
