Microempreendedor individual no sertão de Alagoas: uma análise descritiva no período de 2010 a 2015

Resumo: The research aims to analyze and describe the Individual Micro Entrepreneur (MEI) in the outback of Alagoas, considering the year of 2015. This is a topic of vital importance nowadays due to the growing discussion about entrepreneurship in the world as an alternative to generation of employment and income, which could aid in the generation of economic development. In this research, we seek to discuss the main concepts of entrepreneurship, describe the legislation that regulates this type of company as well as entities that support this public. Finally, secondary statistical data are collected from the Entrepreneur Portal, tabulated and analyzed with the purpose of describing the main characteristics of this population of that region. Based on these data, we analyzed 26 municipalities that make the surveyed mesoregion of Alagoas, confirming the hypothesis, in a partial way, that the services sector is the most comprehensive, with the retail segment of merchants and clothing and accessories stores as a business model predominant among the MEIs and the male gender with greater comprehensiveness, but with very little difference for the female.

Essa é uma temática de vital importância nos dias atuais vide a crescente discussão acerca do empreendedorismo no mundo como alternativa para a geração de emprego e renda, que poderia auxiliar na geração de desenvolvimento econômico. Nessa pesquisa, busca-se discutir os principais conceitos do empreendedorismo, descrever a legislação que regulamenta essa modalidade de empresa como também entidades que apoiam esse público. Por fim, dados estatísticos secundários são levantados a partir do Portal do Empreendedor, tabulados e analisados com a finalidade de descrever as principais características dessa população daquela região.
