Along the adductor canal in the wilderness of Alagoas State there are some situations that deserve more attention in relation to the natural surface drainage system and its interventions in the channel structure. The chute of the dry creek, adjacent to the adductor canal, receives the contribution of five micro watersheds that were connected by dams and pipes, going to converge on the structure of the over-chute 3 located at kilometer 67.280, which eventually crosses the adductor canal. The vicinities of the dry creek to the adductor canal and the bottom elevations of the dry creek in relation to the elevations of the tops of berms of the canal are given special attention, stimulating lecture on the topic. The confluences often occur in natural canals and increase the water depth, especially in stretches upstream of the confluence, in both directions canals, causing flooding in adjacent regions, beyond the chute of natural canals and could, therefore, reach structures in its vicinities. The main issue to be considered is the raising of the water level on the structure of the over-chute 3 that will be submerged during floods and the stretch upstream of the confluence in the dry creek that develops a 620m at an average distance of 80m in the axis of the to the adductor canal. Thus, this dissertation describes the possible effects caused by the confluence of the dry creek with tax watersheds close to the kilometer 67.280 of the adductor canal in the wilderness of Alagoas State. The analysis of the elevations and their possible risks to the structure of the adductor canal for different flood scenarios will be performed using the HEC-RAS hydrodynamics modeling program.
