Análise das metodologias de ensino da Língua Portuguesa para alunos Surdos em uma Escola Bilíngue em Manaus/Am

When the Portuguese language started to be inserted in teaching for deaf students in the written modality, much was discussed about the best way to introduce the majority language for these students, since then methodologies and strategies have been developed seeking to achieve improvements in the education of the deaf. The objective of this research is to present an analysis made from the methodologies and strategies already used by teachers of the Portuguese Language discipline for students who are part of a bilingual school in Manaus/AM. The methodology used is based on descriptive research, an interview was conducted with two teachers who work in the education of the deaf, teaching this discipline as L2. For theoretical support, studies carried out by Goldfeld (2002) on methods used in the education of the deaf are based; Kézio (2016) on bilingual education; Pereira (2010), Macedo and Matsumoto (2015) on teaching Portuguese as L2 for the deaf. The results obtained from carrying out the analyzes show that there is still a deficiency in teaching practices related to the majority language, so it is necessary for teachers to seek resources that help in the development of teaching methodologies that allow the full development of the student in the learning the Portuguese language.
