The technology has been used in several areas, such as industry, universities, everyday life and sports. As sport is an area that is gaining prominence in the use of technology, many football clubs are investing to improve the performance of their athletes and handball is also following these steps, aiming at their growth and development. Seeing this trend in technology associated with sport, the objective was to develop a system to assist handball coaches / coaches in order to improve the performance of their athletes, seeking to achieve high levels of competitiveness within this modality, the system was called Software to Assist the Training of Handball Athletes. This will help to improve the reasoning capacity, the way the team will be trained and the interest of each athlete in improving their skills. To be successful in this system, the methodology used is composed of 6 parts, the first was to carry out a bibliographic survey, the second was the initial proposal, the third was the construction of the system, the fourth was the evaluation of ease of use and utility, the fifth was the adjustments and the sixth was the implantation. The system was based on the Spiral Model, which includes requirements gathering and system documentation, and the results obtained highlighted positive aspects regarding the system's ease of use and utility.
