Análise comparativa dos critérios e parâmetros de projeto entre as normas vigentes no Brasil e em Portugal para sistemas prediais de água fria

Resumo: The proper sizing of cold-water building facilities in construction plays a fundamental role in promoting comfort and improving the quality of life for occupants ensuring public hygiene, preserving water resources, and maintaining the structural integrity of buildings. To ensure standardization in the sizing and execution process, each country or group of countries produces normative documents. In this regard, favorable immigration legislation between countries and the number of Brazilians residing in Portugal highlights the importance of qualifying the workforce interested in making this transition or already in the country. Therefore, this work aimed to compare the sizing guidelines for a cold-water building system, identifying the similarities, differences, and gaps between Brazilian and Portuguese standards. To do this, based on bibliographic and documentary research, an analysis was carried out by sizing the plumbing system of a single-family residence in accordance with the standards and recommendations of each country to observe the differences between the results, using the programs Revit® and Excel. Finally, the results show discrepancies, as there were differences in the nominal diameters adopted for the two standards, either due to differences in calculation flows or the different equations applied. Therefore, it was noticed that there is no absolute consensus on the calculation methods to be used or even on the parameters that must be guaranteed to meet user comfort levels.

Para garantir uma padronização no processo de dimensionamento e execução, cada país ou conjunto de países produzem documentos normativos. Neste sentido, a legislação favorável à imigração entre os países e a quantidade de brasileiros residentes em Portugal indica a importância de qualificar a mão de obra com interesse em fazer essa mudança ou que já está no país. Sendo assim, este trabalho teve como objetivo comparar as diretrizes de dimensionamento de um sistema predial de água fria, identificando as semelhanças e divergências entre as normas brasileira e portuguesa. Para isso, com base na pesquisa bibliográfica e documental, foi aplicada a análise por meio do dimensionamento do sistema predial de uma residência unifamiliar conforme as legislações brasileira e portuguesa para observar as diferenças entre os resultados, fazendo uso dos programas Revit® e Excel. Por fim, os resultados obtidos apresentaram divergências, uma vez que houve diferenças entre os diâmetros nominais adotados para as duas normas, seja por diferença nas vazões de cálculo ou pelas diferentes equações aplicadas.
