Design is a sphere of study that encompasses numerous areas, whose essential premise is to solve problems, among them is editorial design, which is mainly dedicated to organizing information through images, combined or not, with text in a way that facilitates communication with the reader and when combined with a problem can generate unique results. As is the case of the present work, which aims to combine the editorial format that incorporates pop-up mechanisms, with the devaluation of the historical aspect of the city of Manaus, more specifically its historical heritage, in order to promote a point of view alternative to the city's attractions. The use of pop-up mechanisms has the potential to enhance the user experience due to its interactive nature. When used to create a pop-up book that highlights the city's historical heritage, with the function of a souvenir, it would bring a different proposal to materialize the experience in the city, taking into account the memorial function produced by pop-ups, which stimulate more than one of the senses at the same time. For this purpose, manual and digital resources guided by Bruno Munari's methodology will be used, in order to obtain results where historical heritage is represented by pop-up mechanisms. And as a response to the process of analysis and data collection relevant to the project, a souvenir pop-up book will be created with a representation of the historical character of the city of Manaus.
