Resumo: The paper discusses the juvenile condition in the context of uncertainty that marks contemporaneity. From the pair sociability and identity, the paper will present a reflection on how these uncertainties have forged new subjectivities and new ways of living the youth, especially among poor young people. For this purpose, it has as an empirical field, young people living in the largest housing estate of the MCMV in a medium-sized city.
