The purpose of this article is to analyze the right to freedom from a feminist perspective as a tool to protect women's rights, especially that of sexual freedom in the context of prostitution and exploitation in human trafficking. It begins by understanding the right to freedom and the need to recognize women's freedom as a human right. Next, we will understand the existing limitations of the different feminine liberties and the theoretical positions on the sexual issue involved in the context of prostitution in order to understand its nature. Finally, we address how the treatment of prostitution as a form of exercising autonomy is deprived of its characteristics by the absence of effective freedom within a patriarchal social reality that opens the way for new exploitations that are difficult to control, such as human trafficking. The research was conducted using the deductive method of approach, supported by bibliographical and documental research on the theme.
