Resumo: | It is intended to identify, based on the results obtained, the possibility of ordering IG from the INPI, of the crockery produced in Quilombo do Maruanum. Since, the process for collecting the raw material and the traditional techniques used for this production are distinguishable from other artisanal productions in Brazil, and also have characteristics typical of the soil and forest of the Amazonian regions that are influenced by the tide. In addition to (re) existing an entire Afro-Brazilian ancestral ritual from the removal of this raw material, from respect for the soil, from the initial selection process on who / which pottery pots are suitable for this moment of collection - considered sacred - to the mystical of how quilombola women relate to nature (principle of African Matrix religions). It was concluded that the results presented in the media, in the banks of dissertations / theses and through the various academic researches contribute to the notoriety of traditional technology and in the manufacturing process of Maruanaian crockery. |

Visto que o processo para coleta da matéria-prima e as técnicas tradicionais utilizadas para esta produção apresentam distinguibilidade de outras produções artesanais do Brasil e apresentam também características típicas do solo e da floresta das regiões amazônicas que sofrem influências da maré. Além de (re)existir todo um ritual ancestral afro-brasileiro desde a retirada dessa matéria-prima, do respeito ao solo, do processo de seleção inicial sobre quem/quais louceiras estão aptas para esse momento de coleta – considerado sagrado – até a mística de como as mulheres quilombolas se relacionam com a natureza (princípio das religiões de Matriz Africana).
