Maturity Model for Health Ombudsmen: a systematic review

Resumo: This study aims to carry out a systematic review of the literature to identify scientific articles and patents that address maturity models for health ombudsmen. The findings may support the proposition of a model applicable to the reality of the Ombudsman of the Unified Health System (SUS). The methodology involved a systematic review of national and international databases and technological prospecting using Questel Orbit Intelligence and Espacenet for patent exploration. A total of 9.101 references were located, two of which were classified as highly relevant based on evaluation criteria. Regarding patents, 162 records were found, but none adhered to the theme. The results show the absence of a specific maturity model applicable to the reality of the SUS Ombudsman, indicating gaps in the literature and highlighting the need for more in-depth studies related to the issue, aimed at improving the instruments for assessing the maturity of the Ombudsman processes at the health.

A metodologia envolveu revisão sistemática de bases de dados nacionais e internacionais e prospecção tecnológica utilizando Questel Orbit Intelligence e Espacenet para exploração de patentes. Foram localizadas 9.101 referências, sendo que duas foram classificadas como de alta relevância com base em critérios de avaliação. Em relação às patentes, foram encontrados 162 registros, mas nenhum aderente ao tema.
