DISTINCTIONS AND APPROACHES BETWEEN OUTSOURCING AND UBERIZATION: concepts as the stage of disputes

Resumo: | This paper’s aim is to define and relate the concepts of outsourcing and uberization, interpreting the twophenomena as workforce management strategies that seek to reduce the limits of labour exploitation. The central point of the discussion is to realize that, just as it did not occur in outsourcing, neither inUberization, there is delegation or externalization of activities, which persist under the control of companies, which continue to subordinate workers to their commands. However they are distinctphenomena that have similarities in accentuating the commodification of work. The article, aimed at theoretical conceptual discussion, was constructed considering a set of previous research by the authorson outsourcing, which were gathered and taken as a prerequisite for comparison with data from ongoingresearch on uberization. |

L’objectif de cet article est de définir et de relier les concepts d’externalisation et d’ubérisation, en interprétant les deux phénomènes comme des stratégies de gestion de la main-d’oeuvre qui cherchent à réduire les limites de l’exploitation du travail. Le point central de la discussion est de serendre compte que, tout comme cela ne s’est pas produit dans l’externalisation, ni dans l’Uberisation, il y a délégation ou externalisation d’activités, qui persistent sous le contrôle des entreprises, qui continuent de subordonner les travailleurs à leurs ordres. Il s’agit cependant de phénomènes de nature différente, qui se ressemblent en ce qu’ils accentuent la marchandisation du travail.L’article, destiné à une discussion conceptuelle théorique, aété construit à partir d’un ensemble de recherches antérieures des auteurs sur l’externalisation, qui ont été rassemblées et pris comme hypothèse de comparaison avec les données des recherches en cours sur l’ubérisation.O objetivo deste artigo é definir e relacionar os conceitos de terceirização e uberização, interpretando os dois fenômenos como estratégias de gestão da força de trabalho que buscam reduzir os limites à exploração do trabalho. O ponto central da discussão é perceber que, assim como não ocorria na terceirização, tampouco na uberização há delegação ou externalização das atividades, que persistem sobre o controle das empresas, as quais continuam subordinando os trabalhadores aos seus comandos. Tratam-se, entretanto, de fenômenos de natureza distinta, que se assemelham por acentuarem a mercadorizaçãodo trabalho.
