Resumo: Although the number of studies on gender and sexualities are crescent, studies that focus on lesbian experiences are still less frequent. This study aims to reflect about the plurality of lesbian experiences seeking to comprehend how lesbianities are constructed and how the intersectionality of oppressions through social and identity traces - and the invisibility of this community occur. The research method was based in virtual ethnography, focusing on content shared by lesbian women about their lives and experiences on the digital platform Instagram. It was found that lesbianities are not restricted to a unified identity and, when in intersection with factors such as race and gender roles, produce a multiplicity of demands. Therefore, the protagonism of personal narratives in social media presents a potential strategy for lesbian visibility, as well as the expanding of power of speech in academic spaces. Keywords: Intersectionality; Lesbianities. Social media. Sexualities. Lesbian visibility.

Lesbian visibility.
