Amplamente estudada através da Teoria dos Grafos, analisa a estrutura de uma rede visando identificar características sobre seus elementos e suas interações. Uma propriedade relevante na análise de redes são as medidas de centralidade, que medem a importância dos elementos e interações. A centralidade de intermediação, mede a quantidade de menores caminhos que passam por um determinado elemento entre todos os pares de elementos da rede. Dentro deste contexto, nas cidades inteligentes a mobilidade urbana tornou-se um problema relevante nas metrópoles. Um aspecto fundamental da análise de malhas de transporte é identificar os elementos que são mais importantes na rede, por algum critério adequado. Neste trabalho, propõe-se uma modificação no cálculo da centralidade de intermediação, visando aplicá-la numa rede representativa da malha de transporte sobre trilhos na região metropolitana de São Paulo. Ponderam-se os pesos dos menores caminhos pelo fluxo de passageiros. A partir de dados da Secretaria de Transportes Metropolitanos, faz-se uma análise da evolução do transporte sobre trilhos na região metropolitana de São Paulo vislumbrando-se seu desenvolvimento futuro. Os resultados obtidos são promissores, principalmente em relação à diminuição da centralidade de intermediação máxima da rede. Pode-se utilizar este estudo como ferramenta de apoio na tomada de decisão e planejamento da expansão da malha de transporte sobre trilhos na região metropolitana de São Paulo, assim como em outros sistemas que possam ser modelados através das redes complexas.Complex Network Theory has been of great relevance in the scientific field due to its ability to model many problems of a real nature. Widely studied through graph theory, it analyzes the structure of a network to identify characteristics about its elements and their interactions. A relevant property in network analysis is centrality measures, which measure the importance of elements and interactions. Betweenness centrality measures the number of shortest paths that pass through a given element among all pairs of network elements. Within this context, in smart cities urban mobility has become a relevant problem in populated regions. A key aspect of transport network analysis is to identify the most important vertices, using an appropriate criteria. In this work, it is proposed a modification in the betweeness centrality, aiming to apply it in a network representative of the Rail Transport Network of the S¿ao Paulo Region. The shortest paths are weighted by the flow of passengers. Based on data from the Department of Metropolitan Transportation, an analysis is made of the evolution of rail transport in the metropolitan region of S¿ao Paulo with a view to its future development. The results obtained are promising, especially in relation to the reduction of the maximum betweeness centrality of the network.
