Para isso, compreende um estudo sobre o contexto político e acadêmico que culminaram em diretrizes para uma ampla reforma no sistema de Ensino Superior. Esta, adotando caminhos e estratégias, tornou-se um projeto nacional, com a adesão de várias universidades federais do país. Para manter uma linha de pesquisa cronológica que permita compreender a trajetória da temática, a tese aborda as motivações que impulsionaram a adoção do Bacharelado Interdisciplinar pela Universidade Federal do ABC, pioneira na oferta do modelo, e investiga em que medida foi responsável pela motivação na adoção dos cursos interdisciplinares por outras instituições de ensino. Para esse estudo utilizou-se como base os referenciais teóricos dos estudos sobre Difusão de Políticas Públicas e dos estudos da Difusão de Inovação, que se mostraram complementares para análise pretendida.The thesis analyzes the higher education in Brazil in the last 15 years, having as main focus the diffusion of a new model of bachelor's degree, characterized by interdisciplinarity. For this, it comprises a study on the political and academic context that culminated in guidelines for a broad reform in the higher education system, the paths and strategies adopted to become a national project, with the participation of several federal universities in the country. To maintain a line of chronological research that allows understanding the trajectory of the theme, the thesis addresses the motivations that gave impetus to the adoption of the Interdisciplinary Bachelor's Degree by the Federal University of ABC (UFABC), a pioneer institution in offering the model, and investigates to what extent was responsible for the adoption of interdisciplinary courses by other educational institutions.
