Resumo: This article presents the debate on identity and education from the complex and necessary intersections of the race, gender and class categories that cross the lives of black women in Brazil. The reflections contained here are part of the result of a doctoral thesis research that discussed the aforementioned categories through the Brazilian and Portuguese reality. Assuming that education is a field of contradictions, but, above all, with effective possibilities of social productions, the study used bibliographic materials and interviews to prove that the school environment can be fundamental for the construction, reconstruction and affirmation of black identity

Las reflexiones aquí contenidas son parte del resultado de una investigación de tesis doctoral que discutió las categorías antes mencionadas a través de la realidad brasileña y portuguesa. Asumiendo que la educación es un campo de contradicciones, pero, sobre todo, con posibilidades efectivas de producción social, el estudio utilizó materiales bibliográficos y entrevistas para comprobar que el ambiente escolar puede ser fundamental para la construcción, reconstrucción y afirmación de la identidad negra.Este artigo apresenta o debate sobre identidade e educação a partir das complexas e necessárias intersecções das categorias raça, gênero e classe que atravessam a vida de mulheres negras no Brasil. As reflexões aqui contidas fazem parte do resultado de pesquisa de tese de doutoramento que discutiu sobre as categorias supracitadas através da realidade brasileira e portuguesa.
