Vocational Training Programs: : the perception of young learning

Resumo: The objective of this research was to analyze the young apprentices’ perceptions towards the programs of professional training which they will participate. For this, an exploratory, qualitative research was carried out, with a set of data that took place through semi-structured interviews with eight youngsters. The categories of analysis can be synthesized in the following way: i) youth and the job market, ii) apprenticeship programs - didactics, theory and practice and iii) professional training - development, interaction and learning. The data revealed that, in general, the participation in the program was satisfying and there is recognition of the importance of the experience for their professional formation. The personal and professional growth and the opportune relationships in the work environment were revealed as very relevant for the interviewees, and financial issue was not a primordial factor. The youngsters agree that the most effective learning take place through simultaneous work and study. In this sense, they criticize the lack of connection between the classrooms ministered by the training institution and the practice in the company. Lastly, we highlight three characteristics that, according to the participants, were acquired or developed during a non-program experience: communication, interpersonal relationship and responsibility.

Realizou-se uma pesquisa qualitativa, cuja coleta de dados ocurceu por meio de entrevistas semiestruturadas com oito jovens. Como categorías de análisis podem ser sintetizadas de forma continua: i) jovens e mercado de trabalho, ii) programas de aprendizaje - didática, teoria e prática e iii) formação profissional - desenvolvimento, interação e aprendizado. Os dados revelaram que una participación en un programa para satisfacer a los jóvenes y reconocer la importancia de la experiencia para una formación profesional. O crescimento pessoal, profissional e as relações oportunizadas pelo ambiente of trabalho mostraram-se muito relevante for os entrevistados, não sendo a questão financeira o fator primordial. Os jovens concordam que a maneira mais efetiva de aprendizado se dá através do trabalho and estudo simultâneos. Nesse sentido, criticam a falta de conexión das aulas ministradas na entidade formadora com a prática na empresa. Por ejemplo, destaque-se três características que, segundo os participantes, forme adquiridas o desenvolvidas durante una experiencia sin programa: comunicación, relacionamento interpersonal y responsabilidad.O objetivo dessa pesquisa foi analisar a percepção dos jovens aprendizes em relação aos programas para a formação profissional. Realizou-se uma pesquisa qualitativa, cuja coleta de dados aconteceu por meio de entrevistas semiestruturadas com oito jovens. As categorias de análise podem ser sintetizadas da seguinte forma: i) jovens e mercado de trabalho, ii) programas de aprendizagem – didática, teoria e prática e iii) formação profissional – desenvolvimento, interação e aprendizado. Os dados revelaram que a participação no programa foi satisfatória para os jovens e eles reconhecem a importância da experiência para a sua formação profissional.
