SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND THE GENERATION OF OWN RESOURCES IN NGO FROM CEARÁ

Resumo: Social Entrepreneurship proposes the innovation of ideas to solve social problems and the identification of opportunities arising from the market to finance social mission. The need for a greater financial autonomy and a smaller influence of their funders made social organizations, such as NGOs, seek to diversify their funding sources through the generation of their own resources. This research aims to investigate new alternatives developed by NGOs from Ceará, to finance their social projects. It is an empirical research, with a qualitative approach, where managers of commercial activities were interviewed, all from three NGOs located in Fortaleza: Instituto Atlântida, Vida Brasil - CE and Comunicação e Cultura. Through a descriptive analysis it was identified that the activities that generate their own resources are differentiated, both related to the type of service provided as the financial impact generated.

La necesidad de una mayor autonomia financiera y una menor influencia de sus financiadores ha hecho con que las organizaciones sociales buscaran diversificar sus fuentes financiadoras generando sus propios recursos. El objetivo de esta pesquisa es investigar las nuevas alternativas desarrolladas por las ONG cearenses para financiamiento de sus proyectos sociales. Se trata de una pesquisa empírica, de abordaje cualitativa en la que se entrevistó los gestores de las actividades comerciales de tres ONGs ubicadas en Fortaleza: Instituto Atlântida, Vida Brail – CE y Comunicação e Cultura. A partir de un análisis descriptive se identificó que las actividades generadoras de recursos propios son diferenciadas tanto en relación al tipo de servicio cómo al impacto financiero generado.As pesquisas que tratam do tema Empreendedorismo Social no Brasil ainda são escassas, mas sua proposta envolvendo a criação de ideias inovadoras para solucionar problemas sociais e a identificação de oportunidades oriundas do mercado para financiar uma missão social já tem sido assimilada por organizações sociais como as ONGs. As ONGs buscam diversificar suas fontes financiadoras por meio da geração de recursos próprios. Esta pesquisa tem por objetivo investigar as novas alternativas desenvolvidas pelas ONGs cearenses, para financiamento de seus projetos sociais. Trata-se de uma pesquisa empírica, de abordagem qualitativa, onde foram entrevistados os gestores das atividades comerciais de duas ONGs situadas na cidade de Fortaleza, a Vida Brasil-CE e o Instituto Atlantida.
