Conversations and Narrativization of Psychological Suffering Among Adolescents

Resumo: | Abstract: This article discusses the method of Conversations in its ethical-political dimension. It was used for the narrativization of psychological distress among adolescents. The intervention research was carried out with young people from a high school located on Fortaleza. Conversations are configured as a work methodology developed from psychoanalysis, widely used in working with young people in school contexts. Its objective is to provide a space for the elaboration of malaise that emerges as an impasse in the social bond. The Conversations took place in the second semester of 2019 and had a group of eight teenagers. The experience attested the power of Conversations as a way to narrate the psychological suffering in its socio-political dimension. The adolescents, when translating their malaise into words, moved between shared experiences and the subjectification of what is unique to them. Psychological suffering was associated by adolescents with family difficulties, experienced mourning and the violence present in the territory where they live. Les conversations sont configurées comme une méthodologie de travail développée à partir de la psychanalyse, largement utilisée dans le travail avec les jeunes dans des contextes scolaires. Son objectif est de fournir un espace pour l'élaboration du malaise qui émerge comme une impasse dans le lien social. Les Conversations ont eu lieu au deuxième semestre de 2019, à la fin des cours, et ont eu un groupe de huit adolescents. L'expérience témoigne de la puissance des Conversations comme moyen de raconter la souffrance psychologique dans sa dimension sociopolitique. Les adolescents, en traduisant leur malaise en mots, ont évolué entre des expériences partagées et la subjectivation de ce qui leur est propre. La souffrance psychologique était associée aux adolescents en difficulté familiale, au deuil vécu et à la violence présente sur le territoire où ils vivent. O presente artigo discute o método das Conversações em sua dimensão ético-política na narrativização do sofrimento psíquico entre adolescentes a partir de uma pesquisa-intervenção realizada com jovens de uma escola de ensino médio situada na periferia de Fortaleza. As Conversações se configuram como uma metodologia de trabalho desenvolvida a partir da psicanálise, muito utilizada no trabalho com jovens em contextos escolares. Seu objetivo é propiciar um espaço para a elaboração do mal-estar que desponta como impasse no laço social. As Conversações aconteceram no segundo semestre de 2019, no contraturno das aulas, e contaram com um coletivo de oito adolescentes. A experiência atestou a potência das Conversações enquanto um caminho para a narrativização do sofrimento psíquico na sua dimensão sociopolítica. As adolescentes, ao transporem em palavras seu mal-estar, transitaram entre as experiências compartilhadas e a subjetivação daquilo que lhes é singular. O sofrimento psíquico foi associado pelas adolescentes às dificuldades familiares, aos lutos vividos e a violência presente no território onde habitam.
