Resumo: | Objective: to analyze factors related to the loss of follow-up in pregnant women with syphilis. Methods: Integrative review developed in six databases. The PICo strategy was used to elaborate the guiding question and select the descriptors and keywords through Boolean operators. 20 articles were included in the final sample. Results: the factors related to the loss of follow-up in pregnant women with syphilis were: age; schooling; diagnosis and late onset of treatment; prenatal failure and low adherence of the partner to treatment. In addition, the lack of knowledge of professionals about the management of syphilis and the failures in counseling were found to be factors inherent to the loss of follow-up. Conclusion: pregnant women under 20, low schooling, stigma, fear, non-treatment of partnership, inadequate treatment and lack of professional training and guidance to pregnant women were associated with the loss of follow-up of pregnant women with syphilis. |

Universidade Federal do Ceará2021-01-14info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfapplication/pdfhttp://periodicos.ufc.br/rene/article/view/6025710.15253/2175-6783.20212260257Rev Rene; Vol 22 (2021): Rev Rene; e60257Rev Rene; v. 22 (2021): Rev Rene; e602572175-67831517-3852reponame:Rev Rene (Online)instname:Universidade Federal do Ceará (UFC)instacron:UFCporenghttp://periodicos.ufc.br/rene/article/view/60257/162830http://periodicos.ufc.br/rene/article/view/60257/162831Copyright (c) 2021 Rev Renehttps://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessSilva, Paula Lima daGalvão, Marli Teresinha GimenizSilva, Emanoelle FernandesBorges, Braulio Vieira de Sousa Lira, Jefferson Abraão CaetanoMagalhães, Rosilane de Lima Brito2021-02-15T19:49:03Zoai:periodicos.ufc:article/60257Revistahttp://periodicos.ufc.br/renePUBhttp://periodicos.ufc.br/rene/oairene@ufc.br||2175-67831517-3852opendoar:2021-02-15T19:49:03Rev Rene (Online) - Universidade Federal do Ceará (UFC)false |
