Resumo: | In this article, we will present a theoretical path that exemplifies the way the discourse has been though throughout the history of ideas, placing it in the modern context of the disputes that configure the political domain. The objective is to bring Hannah Arendt's interpretation closer to that of some authors of the republican tradition and to demonstrate that without the valorization of discourse, as an institutional practice related to the political experience of the actors, a government in its republican aspect is not established. Keywords: Discourse. Political domain. Republican tradition. Government. |

Keywords: Discourse. Political domain. Republican tradition. Government.
