Resumo: What is the meaning of the question “what the power is?” For Michel Foucault, it’s doesn’t matter. The essential is to describe the power like strategic exercises. Just the same, the traditional power interpretation like a king or a group possession needs to be abandoned. This article presents like the principal aim, to analyze the foucaultian`s interpretations about the power mechanism, while agonistics strategic relations between power and liberty.

Este artigo apresenta como principal objetivo, analisar a leitura foucaultiana sobre o mecanismo do poder, enquanto relações agonísticas estratégicas entre poder e liberdade.
