Resumo: | The paper argues that the pedagogically adapted teaching of Sociology, as with other social disciplines (history and geography) or mathematics, starting from primary school, would allow the building of a proper response to the modern demands of education of citizens in democratic societies. It would also make it possible to disseminate among the young a rigorous, interrogative, and critical world view, contributing to a better understanding of the economic market, productive organizations, social stratification, as well as economic, social and cultural inequalities. Knowledge of the existence of social and cultural differences would contribute to the denaturalization of the social world and to the formation of citizens who are subjects of their own actions. |

Tornaria possível difundir entre os jovens um olhar rigoroso, interrogador e crítico sobre o mundo, contribuindo para entender o mercado econômico, as organizações produtivas a estratificação social, as desigualdades econômicas, sociais ou culturais. A tomada de consciência sobre a existência das diferenças sociais e culturais contribuiria a desnaturalização do mundo social e para formar cidadãos mais sujeitos de suas ações.
