Resumo: Adding to the collective efforts of the profissional sociology, currently facing serious and judicious setting of the transmission of matter in high scholl, the article aims to reflect on thematic and pedagogical content prioritizing “the sociological way of thinking”. This based on the perspective of the use of concepts as a tool to interpret and rupture with the forms previously constructed explanation about social life. It also considers that a basic knowledge of sociology could in future, guiding or influencing not only a professional choice in the area itself, but also to base other impoverished professions for a broader view of the mechanisms that guide social practices.

It also considers that a basic knowledge of sociology could in future, guiding or influencing not only a professional choice in the area itself, but also to base other impoverished professions for a broader view of the mechanisms that guide social practices. Somando-se aos esforços coletivos de profissionais da área de sociologia, atualmente voltados para o estabelecimento sério e criterioso da transmissão da matéria no Ensino Médio, o artigo busca contribuir para uma reflexão sobre conteúdos temáticos e pedagógicos, priorizando o que poderia ser designado por “modo sociológico de pensar”.
