Resumo: This article aims to discuss the link between the high schools and the category of Youth, emphasizing the aspect of sociability of young people inside that institution. Through systematic observation of high schools through teaching experience in Degree in Social Science, the author analyses the consequences of the experience of youth cultures, lifestyles and groupings within high schools; throwing light on problems inherent to the schools environment, include these not always perceives by society, and opening perspectives for research to be explored by Sociology in that field.
