The present work is dedicated to providing a tidy apparatus that makes it easy to understand how a bridge behaves, given the possible variables that may influence its structure. For a better empirical approach, the superstructure of the bridge over the Jaguaribe River, better known as Fatty Fish Bridge which is located in the city of Tabuleiro do Norte-CE. It is noteworthy that the bridge was the target of criminal attacks in two moments, where the outcome of these attacks will be pointed out based on the analysis of the Building Rehabilitation and Durability Laboratory (LAREB). Nevertheless, based on the fundamental points about the bridge, since its historicity, elements, classification and the respective calculations for the service envelopes, obtained with the aid of the Two-dimensional Frame Analysis Tool (FTOOL), which contribute to the a better structural understanding of the bridge. In addition, static and dynamic analyzes provided by ANSYS® software are provided, which provided data showing the characterization of bridge behavior such as displacements, stresses and total displacement peaks for each vibration mode. It is concluded that the proposed objectives were achieved and the results were significant, contributing to the assessment of the structural safety of the bridge.
