The fuel stations environment, with all the characteristics and demands, is responsible for the physical and psychological illness of several professionals, some of the factors related to the physical environment, security and health are reasons to the development of the occupational stress. The literature highlights that the interest about the theme is due to the preocupation with the consequences from the stress. The stressors factors can be derived from the performed activity, interpersonal relationships, structure and the organizational climate. In this scenario, this research were developed with the general objective analyse the occupational stress characteristics in fuel stations attendants in the interior of Ceará, based in the Stress Symptoms Inventory of Lipp. Therefore, were realized a quantitative research, in which were applied a questionnaire to collect the work perceptions from the attendants and its relations with their level of stress. The data collection was done with the application of 15 questionnaires and all the respondents answered, configuring the census. From the analysis of the results, it was possible to verify that the group studied is composed of male professionals, who work 40 hours a week and are mostly married (80%). The results showed that the stress levels of the pedestrians are not so high, since a large part of the studied population was not included in any stage of stress.
