The present research aims to investigate the musicalization of children during the early childhood, making the analysis of an experience in pre-school, having as investigation environment the city of Sobral, Ceará. The main objective is to investigate the influence of school musicalization activities on children's development during early childhood. This study brings relevant data about the history of music teacher training in Brazil, teaching knowledge and pedagogical practices in this teaching context. The approach of this research is qualitative, seeking to analyze the activities of musicalization of Early Childhood Education, being carried out a field research, with the collection of data through observation and interview, allowing reflections on the practice of musical education in this educational institution where it took place the research, and then the analysis of the collected data. Finally, in the final considerations, the results achieved show that the teacher participating in the research understands the need to use music intentionally and for specialized training to act effectively in this educational context. And that is still present among other education professionals the idea that music is just a didactic resource, not recognizing the importance in development and learning.
